Meber Best 950 Power Band Resaw

The Meber Best 950 is a heavy duty power band resaw built for large scale wood cutting.

Key Features:

Industrial build: Heavy duty steel construction (2400 kg) for extreme rigidity. This mass helps the saw run smoothly with minimal vibration.

High capacity: 950 mm cast flywheels (700 RPM) and a large table allow resawing beams and logs up to 520 mm high and 920 mm wide

The saw runs at a high linear speed (34 m/s) for efficient cutting of thick timber.

Powerful motor: Standard motor is 30 HP (35 kW) with an optional 35 HP upgrade.

Electric installation certified to ISO 9000 – EN 29000 standards. Machines are pre-tested as to noise level and sawdust emission according to European standards.

Feed system (optional): An optional R1 infeed feeder (belt driven toothed roller) can be added to automate resawing long stock. This feeder has 10 preset feed speeds (or variable drive) and an adjustable pressure roller, enabling the machine to take squared billets or logs and feed them into the blade to “re saw… logs for reduction to planks”

Blade support and safety: The machine includes an integral blade guard and dual insert blade guides for precise tracking. Full guarding of moving parts and an emergency blade brake (electric brake and soft/start) enhance operator safety.

Built-in cleaning/lubrication: Brass scraper blades sweep debris off the wheels, and a drip-feed oil lubricator keeps the blade and wheels clean. This system greatly reduces stickiness and sawdust buildup, ensuring consistent performance over long cuts.

Dust extraction: Twin (or triple, on some BEST models) dust ports capture sawdust at both wheels. This provides “optimum sawdust exhaust and… a healthy work environment,” as certified by European dust emission standards

Ergonomics: The control panel is positioned for easy access and in non-CE versions the table can tilt up to 20° for beveled cuts (optional).
