BAND SAW WITH COLUMN GUIDES

The TMJ PP 362 CNC is a fully automatic, electrohydraulic, CNC band saw machine for metal cutting, dedicated to straight cuts. The bandsaw's extremely rigid machine stand and saw arm strength ensure a long life and exceptional accuracy. Its two-column, solid steel construction forms a closed frame, ensuring perfect rigidity.

The bandsaw is controlled by means of a microprocessor control system with a screen and keyboard to program the required functions. The machine stops when the number of functions set is achieved, when the saw blade breaks, and when there is missing material. The bandsaw is equipped with electronic feeding of material up to 500m in length (arbitrarily repeatable) with a continuously adjustable mechanic backstop accuracy of ± 0,1 mm.

SAW ARM	Travels up and down by means of hydraulic cylinder; its piston rod is formed by a chrome-plated guiding column. Upper position can be adjusted based on the height of material to be cut. The saw blade is set to a contact surface of material in inclination of 3°; this results in optimum teeth mesh, better cutting performance, a higher quality of the cut and a slow entry and exit of the saw band at various material cross sections.
SAW BLADE	Smooth run of the saw blade is ensured by two heavily-dimensioned guideways with guide rollers and carbide blocks. Movable guide arm of the saw blade can be adjusted to width of material, resulting in greater precision and a cleaner cut. Proper tensioning of the saw blade is regulated by adjusting spindle and Belleville springs.
CONTROL OF RUN	Feeding speed of the saw arm towards the material is realised through a throttle valve. Saw blade pressure into the cut is controlled by an automatic valve (derived from cutting resistance), which regulates feeding speed into the cut by solid material to conform to cutting conditions set and to prevent overloading of the saw blade. In case of saw blade breakage, machine stops automatically.
CONTROL SYSTEM	Control system B+R. All functions of the band saw are controlled by means of virtual buttons on touchscreen of control system, which are marked with comprehensive symbols. Everything is displayed on large graphic screen with information on settings of technological and operating parameters. Possibility to enter different programs, where up to 100 different lengths, number of pieces and cutting speed for each program can be set. Possibility to choose language version, metric or inch units. System identifies failures and saves them into memory along with respective date and time. Electrohydraulic feeding of material up to length of 500 mm per stroke can be repeated arbitrarily with continuously adjustable mechanic back stop of accuracy ± 0,1 mm.
