The Alligator XPERT series 3D bandsaws are specialist machines designed for separating metal 3D printed components from additive manufacturing build plates.
For manufacturers using DMLS, SLM and metal powder bed fusion technologies, removing parts from the print plate is a critical step in the production workflow. The Alligator XPERT range provides a fast, precise and cost effective alternative to wire EDM and milling, significantly reducing post processing time and operating costs.
Each machine is engineered with a rigid two column bandsaw structure, precision blade guidance and adjustable build plate clamping systems, ensuring accurate separation with minimal material loss. The machines are designed to work with a variety of metal additive manufacturing materials, including titanium, stainless steel, tool steels and high performance alloys.
