TMJ PP502 SEMI-AUTOMATIC BANDSAW VIDEO GUIDE

In our latest video guide to horizontal bandsaws, Allen provides a guide to the TMJ PP502 Bandsaw - a heavy duty machine perfect for H-Beams and solid bars.. 

 

The TMJ PP502 is a heavy duty, semi-automatic bandsaw, which cuts 500 diameter and 500 square pieces. It has pillars either side, and an adaptive downfeed, which means the machine will slow down to the centre of a solid bar and then speed up when it gets to the narrower part of the material. If you are cutting h-beams. when you come down to the web in the middle the machine will slow down automatically because of the adaptive downfeed device, the speed of which can be adjusted. The panel allows you to adjust the blade speed and clamping functions. 

 

The machine has a very large swarf drawer, which you can easily empty at the end of the shift, and a power-driven swarf brush to clean the blade. It also has a very large double reduction gear box and a massive motor. 

 

If you need to cut pieces to short lengths, you can fit the additional end-stop, or you can buy roller tables from Saws UK should you require them.  

 

The TMJ PP502 also has a hydraulic cylinder that applies the tension to the blade with a gauge so that the blade tension is correct every time. When the machine is switched off the tension is reduced automatically, which saves a lot of fatigue life on the blade. The hydraulic pack is easy to access for maintenance.
